Happy Birthday Chelsea!

Chelsea turned 17 last Sunday. So on Saturday her mom decided to surprise her. So Chelsea is wondering what we are all doing huddled around in a group.

When we started singing Happy Birthday! She figured it out! Look at her blush!

After she recovered from the shock of it all she seemed happy. What a nice cake!

Here are some of the party guests!

Gusty Wind Horse Show Description and Directions

Gusty Wind Acres Riding School Inc.

Gusty Wind Acres Riding School Inc. is a fine horse facility located on a beautiful 200-acre farm. The riding school offers a variety of opportunities for riders and horses. Students or boarders may ride in our 72’ x 144’ indoor arena, in one of our 3 outdoor sand or bark arenas or in the scenic woods and fields. The riding school also hosts approximately 5 public horse shows per year in which boarders and students may participate.

Lessons have been taught at Gusty Wind Acres for 30 years. The main goal of our lesson program is to teach out students to safely enjoy the pleasures of horseback riding while having a respect for the happiness and well being of the horse. We offer a variety of programs including horse camp.

Hunter, Dressage, and Combined Training instruction is provided by our 3 riding instructors. Our head instructor who has taught for over 30 years has won numerous honors. 2 of the instructors most notably have won the Bronze Medal that is awarded by the United States Dressage Federation.

Our New Resident

Our new dog is named Tejas (said Tay hoss) it means Texas in Spanish. We tried a couple of other names, but this is the one we can all agree on. She is suppose to be part Gordan Setter and Part ?? She is about 2 years old. She knows all kinds of tricks, but she is often too distracted to do them (cats are fun to watch).

Gabby thinks she should stay up high above the dog! What a smart cat! She also likes to bird hunt.
